Model-in-training Posted by Picasa

Time has flown!

I realized the other day, kind of like a sudden shock, that NatureForce will be a year old in one month. That's incredible.

I could go into philosophizing and reminiscing here, but I'll leave that for another day when I've got more time. When would that be? Hrm, not exactly sure...

Yeah, I'm cute. Mommy, I want up! Posted by Picasa

What is it about The Wiggles?

Our three-year-old, LittleMum, is in love with The Wiggles. She has been watching the DVDs the last couple of days. And who can complain - she gets up and dances and sings with the TV. Then, after we turn the TV off, she'll sing the songs and dance around the house for a while.

Sitting down to watch The Wiggles with her, however, is an interesting experience. It's so funny to see grown men in what Australians call skivvies (or so our Aussie friend calls the long-sleeve shirts they wear), jumping and dancing and singing on the screen. But the music is infectious. I find MYSELF singing "Get ready... to Wiggle" at inopportune moments through the day.

Kids love The Wiggles. The Wiggles are good for kids. Good on 'em.

The Truth about Internet Marketing

Okay, so I don't quite know the truth about internet marketing. However, I have been immersing myself in so much information I'm not sure which way is up.

I have a huge passion for helping work-at-home moms (WAHMs, you know who you are!) joyfully generate income from home while keeping their family first... a goal that I myself have and work at every day. I love my two little ones, as you can hopefully gather from our little blog. The opportunity is this: I would like to widen my reach. I realize that not many WAHMs can afford one-on-one coaching. So I have been exploring other ways to give them hope and real strategies for making a home business both passionate and balanced.

I believe that working at home is a MOVEMENT. So many effective, fabulous professional women are looking at their lives and realizing that what they truly long to do is be at home with their beautiful children. They understand that they are the best person to provide the love and guidance that helps children develop confidence and love of life and learning. Yet, in today's economy, it's becoming more and more difficult to live on only one income.

WAHMs, I salute you - what you do, what you stand for.

About Legacy

I had the great privilege today of attending a funeral. It's such a gift to catch a glimpse into a life well-lived, a legacy so appreciated. Although this young woman, my cousin's young wife and a mother of two, left us so soon, she lived her life fully and with so much love and passion that I felt inspired to live mine.

It was a great reminder about the things that matter most. Thank you for your legacy, Stephanie.

Okay, so how did Hello do?

Well, I felt a bit like I was spamming a bunch of photos tonight - they all ended up in separate posts. However, I like Hello. It'll make it easy to post photos quickly and more regularly (so we don't have marathon posting like tonight). Simple and clean interface, fun look and feel. Thumbs up!

You can get Hello at http://www.hello.com/index.php.
